Insurance coverages vary, even with patients who have the same insurance company – and whether or not you’ve reached your maximum out of pocket deductible for the year. These questions can be answered during your initial consultation with one of our patient care coordinators. We will work on pre-authorization with your insurance company prior to your first visit.
Will this be covered by my dental or medical insurance?

Remember, first you need to meet with one of the specialists. In a MAJORITY of cases, our specialists are able to prescribe you with either a Sleep APP oral appliance or a Somno Med Oral Appliance. In both cases, these devises will be custom fit to your mouth, and you simply pop it in when you go to sleep at night.
We are also experts in EMA, Somnodent, SleepApp, TAP, and all of the major sleep devices.
The Sleep Medicine Group now offers the most advanced and newest FDA approved oral appliance in the industry, the SLEEPAPP ADV. It offers a potential connector to be used both stand alone as an oral appliance and as a strap-free connector for patients with severe OSA that hate the straps on the average bulky CPAP mask.
Sleep Medicine Group is one of the longest-standing and most experienced practices in dental appliances in the country. We are one of the original interdisciplinary Sleep Practices in the country. We have helped develop this exciting treatment option for patients to have access to one of the most preferred OSA treatments available.
NOTE: These are much different, and much more advanced than the over the counter solutions you find for sale on the internet or at pharmacies. More times than not, you get what you pay for, wishing that you would have started with us to begin with (we’ve heard that many times).
